Jake is a white, queer settler living and working in Mi’kma’ki. He has over a decade of experience in film production, data management, and the non-profit sector. Jake combines his passion for efficiency with a deep appreciation for the arts, focusing on amplifying underrepresented voices in his personal work.

Since 2019, Jake has worked as the Operations Manager at I.A.T.S.E. Local 849, a motion picture local representing almost 600 technicians working in 18 departments across the Maritime Provinces (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI). Active in Local 849’s DEI committee and playing an active role in engaging the entertainment industry in pride events, Jake is excited to be involved in the IATSE Pride Committee.

Jake currently lives in the woods outside Halifax, Nova Scotia, with his partner of 9 years, Jordan, and his two cats, Jimbo & Jughead.
