Jack is the Secretary Treasurer of Make-up Artists & Hair Stylists Local 798 which represents members in 22 states on the East Coast and the District of Columbia. Over his 25+ year career, he worked as a hair stylist on Broadway productions before transiting to film and television.

Volunteering with the Local 798 lead him to becoming the Local 798 Pride Coordinator working with the NY, GA, and LA Local 798 Pride Committees to promote visibility and inclusion throughout the jurisdiction. He also works with the New York City IATSE Locals organizing the International’s contingent in the New York City Pride March. Jack reminds us “It is a March for equal rights for the whole LGBTQIA+ community.  Once equal rights are achieved it will become a parade, and then we can celebrate”. To that end IATSE NYC Pride meets monthly to engage members with educational, political and social events.

As the Northeast USA Regional Coordinator Jack will be reaching out to all the Locals in Districts 3 & 10 to increase the solidarity of the LGBTQIA+ members and allies and create educational, political and social events with the membership and our allies in the community
