SUMMARY:International Two-Spirit & Indigenous LGBTQQIA+ Awareness Day
DESCRIPTION:International 2‑Spirit Day honors Indigenous people who embody both masculine and feminine spirits. Observed on the spring equinox\, it celebrates 2‑Spirit identities\, raises awareness of their contributions\, and highlights the challenges they face. Communities mark the day with educational events\, cultural ceremonies\, and visibility campaigns. \nCheck out this short video about We’wha from the Zuni Nation as one example of a historical two-spirit figure: \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=md-6N73Xf0k
